While I was over at El’s Extreme Anglin - World of Warcraft Fishing Guide I noticed that there were tooltips for various links to items, that appeared in a similar way to that when you hover over an item in the game.
As I am going to blog about various World of Warcraft subjects I thought I would give this a go on my blog to see how it works.
The tooltips are provided by Wowhead and simply putting a single line of code on your page which will include a javascript file from the Wowhead site, will enable tooltips on all links to items in their database, very cool methinks!
Simply include their javascript anywhere in your webpage/blog post code:
<script src=”http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js” mce_src=”http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js”></script>
For example, my level 70 Hunter just got a new pair of gloves:
For some reason image links don’t seem to work, only text links as you can.
If anyone knows how to get tooltips on images please leave a comment!
